## ✅Core Advantages
1. **High impact resistance**: Not easily broken by large stones; high temperature resistance, can withstand hot materials around 300℃, something polyurethane cannot achieve.
2. **High aperture ratio, fast material feeding**: Large material flow rate, suitable for high-volume dry material screening.
3. **Low unit purchase price**: High cost-effectiveness; can be made with very large apertures, ideal for coarse crushing and primary screening.
4. **Good toughness and high tensile strength**: Hook-edge tension installation, compatible with various vibrating screens; can be rolled or cut, flexible customization.
## ⚠️Disadvantages
1. **Wet and sticky materials easily clog the apertures and cause screen clogging**: Screening efficiency drops significantly in clay and sludge conditions.
2. **High noise level:** The vibration and impact noise is significantly higher than that of polyurethane screens.
3. **Short lifespan:** 3-6 months under normal sand and gravel conditions; replacement is required every 1-2 months under severe abrasion. Its wear resistance is far lower than that of polyurethane screens.
4. **Difficult to manufacture with fine apertures:** A aperture smaller than 2mm results in extremely fine wires that break very easily.
