Made from a single piece of CNC-stamped steel plate, this **rigid plate screen** features a **unwoven mesh**. Widely used in mining, sand washing, drum screens, and vibrating screens, it can be made with round holes, square holes, and elongated slots.
## ✅Core Advantages
1. **Extremely high overall rigidity, no deformation**, resistant to heavy pressure and large impacts, with a flat surface, stable particle size accuracy, and no hole displacement.
2. **High hole diameter accuracy**, uniform hole size; flexible hole shapes: round holes, square holes, and elongated slots.
3. **High temperature resistance**, can withstand materials at 300℃; can be bent, edged, and directly bolted for easy installation.
4. Wear-resistant plates available: 65Mn manganese steel, NM400/NM500 wear-resistant plate, 304/316 stainless steel; corrosion-resistant versions suitable for acid and alkali conditions.
5. Robust structure, no risk of wire breakage, unlike woven mesh where wires may loosen. ## ⚠️Disadvantages
1. **Low aperture ratio**, typically 30-55%, resulting in lower material flow compared to woven manganese steel screens.
2. **Wet materials and clay easily clog the holes**. The holes are cylindrical and lack elastic self-cleaning properties, leading to significant material sticking and clogging.
3. Plate thickness limits micropore size. Smaller hole diameters require thinner plates, reducing wear resistance. Mining typically uses hole diameters ≥3mm.
4. Heavy weight, resulting in high screen load and significant vibration and noise.
5. Wear causes the holes to enlarge, gradually decreasing screening accuracy. Localized wear requires replacement of the entire screen; partial repair is not possible.
## 📐Key Technical Parameters
- Material: Q235 carbon steel, **65Mn manganese steel**, NM400/NM500 wear-resistant steel, 304/316 stainless steel
- Plate Thickness: 2-12mm (4-10mm is mainly for heavy-duty mining)
- Hole Diameter: Round/square holes 3-100mm, long slot holes 2-20mm; staggered holes can be customized
- Opening Rate: 30%-55%
- Installation: Bolted tightening, edge bending, whole plate type, **cannot be hooked and tensioned**
- Working Temperature: -20~350℃
## 🛠Applicable Working Conditions
✅Preferred Perforated Screen Plates:
- Rotary drum screen, feed screen, pre-screening, screening of large stones and construction waste
- Dry material grading, requiring high particle size accuracy and high material impact
- For high-temperature materials and slightly corrosive working conditions, choose stainless steel perforated plates.
The equipment requires a rigid screen surface; screen surface deformation is not allowed.
❌Not suitable for: high-moisture fine sand, sludge, and sticky materials, as they are prone to clogging. For fine material dewatering, polyurethane or slotted screens are preferred.
